Mars and the Rovers by Matt E.

Mars, a planet much like our own is currently under observation by machines that drive on it’s surface.  These machines are called Mars rovers and pick up information about the planet.  There are currently many rovers on the surface of the moon searching for different pieces of evidence.  One piece of evidence that is being searched for is that there is water on Mars.  Another search is for life on Mars.  Mars is a planet very much like our i shape and size.  although the bottom of Mars is missing scientists believe this is due to the fact that there was an asteroid that circled mars causing a magnetic field.  Then the meteor got to close and crashed causing the bottom of Mars to get blown off.  The planet also still has traces of magnetic fields.  all this information was found by Mars rovers.

“The object of these robots is to characterize many different objects.”  This the definition of a rover that is given by NASA.  The rovers are robotically controlled from earth and have tools to explore Mars.  These robots have recently discovered that there was a river on Mars.  They know this because it has rocks that require there to be moving water for them to form.  This is a revolutionary discovery and was made possible by Mars rovers.  These robots are all different and for different purposes, but they are all to study Mars.  Below we can see a river bed found by rovers on Mars.

Mars is a planet next to Earth and it has a very harsh climate.  On many events it rains acid and there are many volcanos.  There have also been many asteroids that have hit Mars.  You can see in the picture below of Mars that there are many craters.  Mars is a rocky planet and it has one huge volcano that is famous.  There is no water on Mars that is not in the form of water.  Mars is mostly cooper, which is why it is orange.  A human could not live on Mars.

Mars rover have been on Mars for a very long time and there is not much information found but when it is it is a scientific discovery.  There is also silica on Mars as you can see in the picture below.  A rover uncovered this silica and took a picture.  we now know more about the planet Mars.  The craters on Mars are massive and Mars is almost the size of Earth.  This means that it will take a long time to explore the whole planet.  The rovers have been there for a long time and they send more up.  There has been one there for 40 years.  That is a long time and they still work.  These robots are very strong.  You know this because they have been in the space for many years even though the acid rain.

Mars rovers have made many important discoveries in this century and I hope that there will be many more discoveries on Mars.  The robots are very strong and they have been a very important part of exploring the universe.

I hope that in the future they will be used to explore many other planets and give other valuable information about the universe.  I believe that Mars rovers are very helpful and they have helped to give scientist information that they need  for their investigations into Mars and other planets.  I hope you enjoyed this information about Mars rovers.
